| Trojans The Trojan can
be defined in various ways. One common way of defining it is as a malicious software or program, which creates a
back way access to the networks of the affected system. The
word Trojan horse is derived from the very war and this
war took place between Greeks and Trojans, where Greeks
presented a huge horse containing Greek soldiers for the other.
When Trojans dragged this horse into their city, the Greek
soldiers who were hiding in this horse came out and conquered
the troy city. So, this says that this malicious infection is a
hidden program which hides at some place and gets activated
after some time.
When it gets activated, it creates a way for entering into
the user system and helps the intruders or hackers to conquer on
the data present in users system. An important fact about
Trojans is “They are auto hiding spies, who cannot be detected
by most of the free
trojan remover programs. They are unlike a virus
because they can be detected by an security tools which are
designed to find them. Virus is just
like a solider facing another solider directly, but it’s not
hiding anywhere so it can be trapped by the opponent. This
Trojan horse is not like a virus, it hides somewhere and
attacks the anti virus system without getting noticed. Compared
to a virus Trojans are more dangerous because they do the things
without being noticed.
As already told this horse is not like worms which
get multiplied affecting the performance of users system. It creates a free public access to the attacked
users system and allows his opponent to gather all the
information available on his system. There are many Trojan
horses in the internet, here we will discuss about the most
popular Trojans which created a revolution in global history. It
was in the year 2005 a popular infection called Tony
Blair affected most of the popular networks in Britain.
Usually to spread this Trojan horse a hacker uses email
accounts. You need a free virus protection program to remove
them. He will send some word file or html document to the
users, with a special name. The same thing happened in 2005.
Most of the people of Britain were sent a mail which had the
subject “Tony Blair’s email account has been hacked”. This mail
was claimed to be coming from BBC news channel so most of the
people found that topic interesting and started opening the
attachment. Now you may get a doubt here, dint they have an free
virus protection software to check that mail is correct or wrong? Yes, they
had an free virus protection software, but as I already told an anti virus
cannot detect a Trojan. So, when people opened
these attachments without their notice Trojans got
loaded in their system. This loaded infection made
their screen black and started loading all the important data
present on users system into the hackers database.
The creators of the Trojan just used the name of
Tony Blair so that they can affect more people. People got
trapped to this Trojan horse because; they were more
interested in knowing the fact about the political situation.
Besides, Tony Blair attack other codes were also used by hackers
for exploiting these social networks. The main purpose of this
attack was to create a mess in the people and hack the original
policies website of Tony Blair. Internet is the main source for
spreading these infections and you can make use of free virus
protection tools to find them. People use internet for getting all the
information, but hackers use the same internet for spreading
deadly malicious programs for getting illegal access to members
present on the internet. These Trojans are called as backdoor
Trojans. They attack the local system and give a remote access
to an intruder. This remote access made by the Trojan
will allow that hacker to: Send and receive files, launch or
delete the existing files, execute the files present on users
system, display some notification, delete the data on his
system, reboot the user’s machine.
Knowing all the information about such malicious software we
can find ways of stopping illegal access to our system. Though
these infectious programs are harmless to the system,
they give an illegal access to our network. If you wish to stop
an infection like this from accessing your network, you should
know about the sources from which this Trojan can enter into
your system. E-mail attachment acts as a best support for
inviting a Trojan horse into your system. You can prevent
this from entering to your system, by using a
strong operating system. Compared to windows operating system,
you can prefer usage of Linux software. This Linux has 4 levels
of protection, so it does not allow the Trojan horse to
enter into your computer. Other sources of these are
word documents; most of the hackers prefer sending macro word
documents to users system. These documents contain malicious programs which get executed when you open the word
document. Running a free virus protection tool will certainly
help remove it.
Some of the common Trojan horse programs used by hackers
are: Downloader.Zlob, Graybird (Backdoor Graybird P, Backdoor
Graybird), Live Update, Generic8.LDI, LeoSrv,
TrojanDownloader.xs, Posion Ivy, Shaft, shark, Sheur. ZSQ, Strom
Trojan. All these Trojans are deadly and when they enter your
system, they create back link to the hackers system sending him
all your id and passwords. First step you can take to prevent
this Trojan horse is: You can use a spam blocker. This
spam blocker will not allow this Trojan horse to enter
into your system. Whenever an illegal access to your network is
detected this spam blocker prevents the data from entering and
exiting from your system. If you still wish to know more details
of the Trojans, then go to the registry of your system. Once you
go into this registry scan it to identify the evil infection.
This resides on an um important file so once you scan
it you can delete the found file easily. However, you can also
do this work manually by going into the task manager. When you
press CTRL+ALT+DEL in windows operating system, you will see a
task manager coming up, when you go into the process tab of task
manager, you will find list of process running on your system.
If you find any process having a large name with different
extension then delete that process, so that the hacker’s
connection to your system breaks away.
